Quirks
With the game of heroclix there come some quirks or some superstitions. I myself when playing with switch my dice after a couple terrible rolls, one of the guys I work with will not pick his own boosters and half the time he doesn't open them. It must be working because he's pulled a parallax two zombies, and a superboy prime. When asking about superstitions most revolved around dice, not having anyone touch their dice, specific dice they use, even rubbing them together to heat them up. One thing I believe in as some one punted out on Facebook is good Karma. Passing on figures you win if you already have them. Including extras in trades. One of the biggest superstitions I know is dice are always more lucky when given to you. So in that world of good karma I try to throw some dice in with my trades. Are they lucky? I do not know, but I do know that I love sharing experiences and good time playing Clix.

Let's try this again
Life just sometimes gets in the way. With that being said life is usually more important. I have a few things that I really like to do, spend time with my family, write, play games, and overall be social. It has been a long time since I had written anything of my own opinion so here it goes with this new post. In the coming days, weeks, months, and hopefully years more opinions will be made known.

Comic Con
In Utah we are relatively new to the Comic Con game, we have had other expos such as Anime Bonsai, geex, just to name a few. Last September was the first comic con which I attended and it was awesome. The first comic con here was the third largest opening of a comic con. The very last day the convention center was over capacity and they had to close the doors. Less then a month ago Utah had Comic Con Fan Expo, where they brought tons of celebrities including Nathan Fillion, Patrick Stewart, just to name a few. It was absolutely crazy how many celebrities and people came. The Saturday of Fan Ex we had 100,000 people attend. This shot us from the 3 highest opening Comic Con to the 3 largest Comic Con in the nation. Obviously the largest is San Diego, then there is New York, Emerald City, Chicago, Wonder con, Boston, and only two of all of these are above Salt Lake in cons. At Fan Ex I was privileged to take my big little dude, we were not able to see any panels but we were able to see the Kids Con they made specially made an area for kids. My big little dude was so excited to go, he was a trooper, and cannot wait to go back. In fact he wants his mom and brother to go the next time. Look out world, Salt Lake's Comic Con is something to be reckoned with.

An Escape
I love to read, it is something I do to escape the hum drum world I live in. That is to say I love my life I have a job that can pay the bills a wonderful family and a roof over my head I cannot be more thankful for all of this. Sometime someone just needs to get away. Reading does this for me, whether it is running through the streets of London on a chase to get back the latest clankerton device or exploring a world that is made up of all the worlds from books. From heroic character like Kaladin Stormblessed to The Thorn of Cammor and the Twins of legend. I love the escape reading gives. Where have you escaped to recently?
