Brainwaves and thoughts are monitered by local law inforcement. Thoughts are also regulated according to policits. Certain ways have been put in place to block thoughts so that no one can moniter what you are thinking, what is the the government trying to do with all this monitering.

I pods, the way of the future, or the way of enslavement?

I pods have been made to weave suggestions into music and create an army of teen-college age people ready to overthrow the government and put the Macintosh bureaucracy in it's place.

Digital Drugs/ Pioneers Rock

Ok I have two prompts, because I really didn't think this through and it is a holiday in Utah, Pioneer day. So today you get two prompts for the price of one. First prompt is Drugs have been made digital and it is possible to get a fix by hooking into your computer, You are a law enforcement officer that has to get to the bottom of these local digital traffickers. Prompt 2 Pioneers are not just people who traveled west, there have been tons and tons of pioneers, so make up a story of pioneers that where the first to do something.

Blister

This prompt was inspired by the song Blister by Jimmy eat world, who will have a new cd coming out the end of September, and I'm super excited. Disaster strikes on the west coast and survivers need to cross the country to get to civilization.

Which army would win, a cyborg army, or a zombie army? The zombies are those stupid wander around aimlessly zombies, but like a super awesome hive mind zombie hoard. Also you are in the middle of all this chaos and have to avoid death.

Sleeping sickness

I got the Idea for this prompt from a song by the band City and Color, called sleeping sickness. Write about a serial killer that has invented a way to steal "breath" from victims leaving the only sign of death, atrophied lungs due to lack of breathing. The serial killer has certain plans for this breath, it may be trying to bring his love back to consciousness, or maybe to sell the breath for others to live longer.

Tragedy

Today's is pretty basic. Write about a tragedy, whether it be real or made up, usually we get the greatest inspiration from real life experiences, even if they are bad or tragic.

Magic of the body

Develop a magic system based on common nervous habits (picking nose cracking knuckles/joints, chewing on nails etc. etc.) For example I would have someone have super strength after cracking their neck, and that would last until they could crack their neck again.

Fire

I've been reading tons of books that deal with gods and myths and all sorts of cool stuff like that, and each and every one has a way that man was given fire. So today's prompt is come up with your own legend or myth of how fire was given, stolen, or forced upon mankind. As a side note I saw two movies this last weekend, A-team, and The Last Airbender. Totally go see the A-Team, and ignore the last airbender, because any shred of directing M. Night Shyamalan just needs to stop what he's doing and throw his money away in other facets because the whole movie business is not showing you the love.

Happy 4th, I mean revolution.

Because the 4th of July celebrates the revolution of the united states colonies from England I thought I'd do a revolution prompt. Write the perspective of the loosing side of a revolution. Now this revolution can be historical, or not, it's all up to you.

Safty pins

You are being chased by a "killer" who uses safety pins as weapon. Only safety pins don't really work to well considering they are safety pins. I know I did two posts today, that's because I won't have access to a computer tomorrow.

Zombies, well not really
